My name is Susan Lemaire
Currently enjoying her 24th year in the Real Estate Industry, and still passionate about helping people realize their real estate goals! Having spent the first four years of her career in the California Bay Area, then relocating to Seattle in 2004, Susan now resides in Colorado Springs since 2017. Specializing in residential real estate sales representing Sellers, Buyers and Investors and bases her business at Thompson Properties. Whatever your particular real estate needs, Susan can help you find the perfect home and neighborhood for your lifestyle, or market your home to potential buyers.
Susan’s business philosophy is to consistently provide personalized hands-on support and effective communication while navigating through the process of successfully listing and selling homes. Marketing techniques, skillful negotiation, overcoming road-blocks and diffusing stressful situations are a few of my specialties.
On a personal note, Susan lives in downtown Colorado Springs with 10-year old Golden Retriever “Scarlett”, who is a Certified Therapy Dog and her 3-year old Golden Retriever "Olive". Scarlett & Susan are currently a Pet Therapy team volunteering at Common Spirit Hospital and Peak View Behavioral Health.

My name is Joanna Thompson
Born and raised in Atlanta Georgia, I feel like I am a true southerner despite now living in Colorado for the majority of my life! Schooling, Woodward Academy from 2nd to 12 grade, Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina, working as a tour guide in Walt Disney World using my French degree and starting my real estate career, all began in the South. Former husband's Air Force career brought us to Colorado Springs in 1989. I was able to transfer my Georgia real estate license from 1986 to Colorado and have been licensed ever since. In 1995, for some reason, I decided to open my own brokerage company while juggling young children and Thompson Properties was created. It was the right move as I have enjoyed years of being the big boss and helping new and old realtors develop their real estate careers. Over the years raising four girls with my husband Tom, a special education teacher, I was really able to fine tune the job of buying and selling real estate, owning rental properties and being a landlord, renovating historic homes and even operating two Airbnbs. Along the way, I have worked with wonderful people whether as clients or real estate professionals who have made this career choice a great one.

My name is Laura Plourde
I am a dedicated real estate professional with a passion for helping clients find their dream homes. Originally from Southern California, I have a strong educational background in Speech Communications and have been licensed in real estate since 1996. I have continued to expand my knowledge and skills through additional coursework and certifications, including the GRI designation and home staging certification.
After relocating to Colorado in 2018, I obtained my Colorado Brokers license and began working with my friend and neighbor, Joanna Thompson, specializing in the Cimarron area. When I’m not busy helping clients navigate the real estate market, I enjoy spending time with my husband Jeff in our apple orchard and cherished moments with my family, including my four grandchildren.
I believe that listening attentively to my clients, paying attention to detail, and working tirelessly to make the home buying and selling process as smooth and stress-free as possible is crucial to my success.
